2107 citizens took signature cards, 733 candidates registered

According to the information given to APA from the press service of the Central Election Commission, 1208 citizens returned the signature cards they had taken and 733 of them have been registered as candidates. New chairman of Khankendi Constituency #122 Allahverdi Dolukhanov rejected his candidacy as he is chairman of commission.

It must be noted that, A.Dolukhanov applied to the commission to participate as candidate in the parliamentary elections on this constituency before he was commission member. Besides, 8 candidates have taken signature cards from the above mentioned constituency. One of them is from “Azadlig” bloc, one from “Islahat”, the other from is “Birlik” election bloc.

The rest 5 candidates nominated their candidatures themselves. One of them is the member of YAP; the other has not shown his membership for party. The rest 3 citizens have taken signature cards as non-party members.
