Practical shootings carried out at war games in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan

The Command-Staff War Games took place in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan, said Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry in a message on November 21.

Military units held military exercises, during which, they thew a simulated enemy back to its position, said the message.

The exercises also included capturing important heights, strengthening and holding positions there.

The artillery units supported the offensive operation by practical fire. The engineering units ensured the untrammeled movement of the military groups.

Army aviation and air defense units supported the actions of units from air, and tactical landing troops were deployed in the designated areas.

During the exercises, the tasks of repair and evacuation were carried out as well.
