Azerbaijani, Turkish presidents hold one-on-one meeting

Following the official welcoming ceremony, a one-on-one meeting was held between the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Baku on October 31.

During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the successful development of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries in all spheres.

The importance of the sixth meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council was stressed in terms of determining the prospects for ties and further deepening of bilateral relations, and the importance of opening of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which is a global project, was noted.

Moreover, an exchange of views was held on issues of mutual interest between the two countries.
