Baku, Tbilisi eye cooperation between law-enforcement bodies

Azerbaijan’s Interior Minister Ramil Usubov has met with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Mghebrishvili in Tbilisi to discuss prospects for developing cooperation between the two countries` law-enforcement authorities.

Usubov emphasized the development of the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia. 

He noted that the leaders of the two countries attach special importance to strengthening the bilateral ties, Azertac reported.

Usubov further hailed cooperation between the internal affairs ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia in preventing international terrorism, transnational organized crime, illegal turnover of drugs, human trafficking and illegal migration, as well as the exchange of experience and information.

The two also discussed regional security.
