Drama and tension characterized the burial of two victims of the Armenian provocation on July 4.

50-year-old villager Guliyeva Sahibe and her two-year-old grandchild Guliyeva Zahra, who were killed by Armenian militaries, were buried in tear-filled ceremony on Wednesday morning.

The ceremony took place in the Alkhanli village of Fizuli region, which underwent an intense fire of Armenian armed units on July 4.

48-year-old Guliyeva Servinaz also was wounded in the ceasefire breach. Doctors asses her health state as satisfactory.

The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. As a result of the ensuing war, in 1992 Armenian armed forces occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts.

The 1994 ceasefire agreement was followed by peace negotiations. Armenia has not yet implemented four UN Security Council resolutions on withdrawal of its armed forces from the Nagorno-Karabakh and the surrounding districts.
