Baku hosts first International Conference of Young Researchers

The first International Scientific Conference of Young Researchers has been held at Baku Engineering University. It marked the 94th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Addressing the opening ceremony, rector of the university Havar Mammadov said the conference is aimed at bringing together young researchers from different universities, academic and research institutions to share expertise and achievements, finding ways of addressing common challenges, and promoting science among young people.

The conference received 700 reports submitted from young researchers from nearly 20 countries, including the US, Canada, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Germany and Scotland.
