Victims of landslide in Kyrgyzstan commemorated in Baku

A book of condolence has been opened at the Kyrgyz Embassy in Baku to pay tribute to those, who were killed in a landslide in the country`s Osh region.

Azerbaijani deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov visited the Embassy and extended condolences to Kyrgyzstan’s government and people on behalf of the Azerbaijani government, Azertac reported.

Major landslide buried six houses with families in Kyrgystan's Osh region on April 29.

The landslide, caused by heavy rains, destroyed part of a village and killing at least 24 people, including nine children.
