President Aliyev offers condolences to Egyptian president

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has offered condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.

“We were deeply shocked by heavy casualties and injuries as a result of a series of blasts in your country,” said President Aliyev in his letter of condolences.

“We are outraged by such brutal acts against innocent people, and consider it essential to conduct a resolute and consistent fight against the evil of terrorism in all its manifestations.

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to you, families and loved ones of those who were killed and the whole people of Egypt, and wish those injured the soonest possible recovery.”
