Azerbaijani First VP Mehriban Aliyeva deserves senior position

Azerbaijani First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva deserves such a senior position, Azerbaijani MP Sahiba Gafarova said.

Gafarova made remarks at the plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament.

"This activity covers many spheres,” she said. “Such a person as Mehriban Aliyeva is associated with kindness and mercy in the Azerbaijani society. Aliyeva’s activity as Azerbaijani MP, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO-ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador is well known.”

“I think that as a result of this successful activity, the number of Azerbaijan's friends in the world has increased,” she added.

"The activity of Mehriban Aliyeva has always been exemplary and a great incentive for Azerbaijani MPs’ activity in international organizations," she said. “Today Azerbaijan is known all over the world as a tolerant and multicultural country. Of course, one of the reasons is the projects implemented by Mehriban Aliyeva in the East and West.”

"I congratulate Mehriban Aliyeva on her appointment as Azerbaijani First Vice-President and wish her success in her future activity,” she added.
