President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva attend inauguration of school after reconstruction in Baku's Yasamal district - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today officially inaugurated newly reconstructed school No158 as the country marks Knowledge Day.

Accompanied by his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva, the Head of State viewed photos reflecting the look of the school before reconstruction.

Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov said the school was built in 1961. The 1580-seat school consists of three educational and one auxiliary block.

The President toured the school, and then met teachers and students.
School Principal Zemfira Samadova thanked the President for his attention to development of education.
