Azerbaijan to partake at Post-2014 Afghanistan int’l conference

Leading researcher at the Centre for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan (SAM) Zaur Shiriyev will attend "Post-2014 Afghanistan" international conference to be held at the Middle East Technical University of Ankara on July 18-19,AzerTag state news agency reported.

Shiriyev will make report on "Post-2014 Afghanistan strategy of Southern Caucasus countries".

The two-day event will be supported by the NATO Science for Peace and Security Program. The conference will discuss a number of issues, including withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan, different aspects of internal and foreign policy of the country, and the role of neighbouring countries in restoration of stability in Afghanistan.
