Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia built over centuries - Russian official

‘The fact that Russia and Azerbaijan are together as strategic partners is of great importance to us,’ Ludmila Shvetsova, Vice Speaker of the Russian State Duma, has told.

‘Relations between Azerbaijan and Russia date back to ancient time. Our relations were built not over years, but over centuries.’

She noted: “We want to develop our relations, and will put our efforts in this.”
