President Ilham Aliyev held number of official meetings - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received head of the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Roland Kobia who has completed his mission in the country.

During the meeting, they noted relations between Azerbaijan and the EU were developing successfully.

President Ilham Aliyev and Roland Kobia stressed the importance of high level reciprocal visits in terms of strengthening the partnership relations between the country and the organization.

The Head of State praised Kobia`s contribution to strengthening the Azerbaijan-EU cooperation.

They also expressed confidence that bilateral relationship between Azerbaijan and the European Union would continue to expand.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received former German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher.

They noted bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Germany were developing successfully on different fronts, including political, economic, industrial and humanitarian ones.

President Ilham Aliyev and Hans-Dietrich Genscher said there was good potential for expansion of the Azerbaijan-Germany cooperation even further.

During the conversation, they also discussed bilateral ties between the two countries, as well as energy security issues.
