President Ilham Aliyev held number of official meetings - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation led by member of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, chairman of the UK-Azerbaijani interparliamentary group Christopher Pincher.

During the meeting, they noted the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the UK were developing successfully.

They said the Azerbaijan-UK cooperation covers various important fields, including politics, economy, energy, security, and culture.

The Azerbaijani leader and the chairman stressed the role of interparliamentary cooperation in terms of strengthening the bilateral ties even further.

They also discussed Azerbaijan`s cooperation with the European Union and NATO.

The Afghan FM conveyed President Hamid Karzai`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by vice chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence of the U.S. House of Representatives, Senator Saxby Chambliss.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that the U.S.-Azerbaijan Convention: “Vision for the Future” was excellently organized in Baku on May 29, adding the event brought together more than 300 participants from the United States.

The Head of State stressed the importance of fruitful discussions on the Azerbaijan-U.S. partnership at the event.

President Ilham Aliyev and Senator Saxby Chambliss exchanged views on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
