Azerbaijani top diplomat meets new Pakistani envoy

Azerbaijan's foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov met newly appointed ambassador of Pakistan to the country Ikramullah Mehsud on Wednesday.

Mammadyarov praised the development of friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries. Touching upon the international reciprocal support rendered by each of the sides, Mammadyarov expressed confidence the ambassador would make certain contribution to further expansion of the existing ties.

Ambassador Mehsud said he was pleased with his new mission in the fraternal country, underlining he would spare no efforts to enlarge the areas of cooperation in a variety of fields.

The ambassador presented his credentials to the Azerbaijani minister.
