The discussions held at the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum) in Baku, provide an opportunity to look broadly at perspectives of further economic development of Azerbaijan, the deputy chairman and the executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov told journalists on Wednesday.
"Opinions of some well-known economists and managers voiced at the event indicate Azerbaijan's future perspectives in regional terms. I think that this is an important event in the modern economic life of the country. On the other hand, it shows once again that Azerbaijan is a country recognized by the international community as having the capacity to hold significant events. This really is very important and is one of the demonstrations of the perspectives of the further development of Azerbaijan," Ahmadov said.
On April 7 the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum) took place in Baku.
