Azerbaijan's deputy PM attends Int'l Novruz event in Ashgabat

Azerbaijan`s deputy Prime Minister Elchin Efendiyev has visited Ashgabat to participate in the International Nowruz holiday

The Azerbaijani deputy Prime Minister met President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov.

Efendiyev extended Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s greetings to the Turkmen people.
During the meeting they said a lot of work had been done to strengthen relationship between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan and develop bilateral economic and cultural cooperation. The sides also exchanged views on how to expand cooperation between the two countries in various spheres of economy.

The deputy Prime Minister spoke of strengthening traditions of friendship and fraternity between the Azerbaijani and Turkmen peoples, expressing hope that these traditions will continue in the future.

President Berdimuhammedov asked Efendiyev to deliver his best wishes to Azerbaijani President and people.
