Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to UN meets reps of several int'l NGOs

Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UN Agshin Mehdiyev has met representatives of the Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, Security Council Report, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), as well as Refugees International, Save the Children, International Federation of Human Rights, Watchlist on Children in Armed Conflict, International Rescue Committee, NGO Working Group on the Security Council and other international organizations.

They discussed ongoing processes in Mali, Congo, Sudan and South Sudan, Somali, Yemen and Korea.

Mr. Mehdiyev briefed the participants on the current state of these countries, as well as negotiations carrying out in the Council and Azerbaijan`s position.

The participants also received the books on culture and history of Azerbaijan.
