The process of collecting signatures for a petition posted on the White
House's official website to recognize the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and
the fact of occupation of 20 percent of Azerbaijani territories by
Armenian Armed Forces was completed.
The required 100,000 signatures were collected as of 11:23 a.m, on Feb.19.
The petition placed on 'We the People' on the White House's official
website aims to draw attention of President Barack Obama administration
to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the fact of occupation of 20
percent of Azerbaijani territories by Armenian Armed Forces.
The main goal of the petition is the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict, increasing attention to the fact of occupation of 20 percent
of Azerbaijani territories by Armenian Armed Forces and collecting
signatures for the U.S. President's statement in this regard.

were collected as of Monday afternoon under a petition posted on the
White House website, which calls on U.S. President Barack Obama to
include the issue on the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by
Armenia and refugees and internally displaced persons in the agenda of
the Congress.
The petition cites the long-lasting occupation of 20 percent of
Azerbaijani territory by Armenia, four resolutions of the UN Security
Council which have not yet been implemented, as well as hundreds of
thousands of Azerbaijani refugees and IDPs who are victims of the
Armenian aggression.
The petition was posted on January 23. The voting will be continued until February 22.
