Russia does its best towards settling Karabakh conflict

“Russia makes every possible effort towards settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” said Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin.

Dorokhin noted Russia still co-chaired OSCE Minsk group which remained one of the main tools for fair settlement of the conflict.
The Russian diplomat added President Vladimir Putin was aware of the negotiation process.

Responding to a question on the possibility of opening by Armenia of an airport in Khojaly, Dorokhin said Russia was against any action which could destabilize situation in the region.
