'Azerbaijan seeks to develop cooperation with China'

A delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of National People's Congress, led by committee chairman Li Jaosin has today met with Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and Inter-parliamentary Relations of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sevinj Fataliyeva and a group of MPs in Baku.

Fataliyeva said that Azerbaijan is interested in developing cooperation with China in the agricultural and tourism sectors and ICT.

Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, Fataliyeva stressed that Azerbaijan is grateful for China's support for its territorial integrity and recognises China's territorial integrity.

Jaosin said that China is also interested in full cooperation with Azerbaijan. He stressed that bilateral trade has recently increased 700-fold.
