Azerbaijani FM investigates report about detention of its four nationals in Iran

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry is investigating information about the detention of four Azerbaijanis in the Iranian city of Ardabil, the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

"The Iranian side has not provided yet official information about the detention of four Azerbaijani citizens," the Ministry noted.

According to Iranian media, two of the detainees are accused of drug smuggling.
