
A meeting of CIS experts of ministries of internal affairs took place in Baku from August 2-4. The aim of the meeting was to prepare for the next session of CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs.
The meeting was attended by delegates from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia and representatives of CIS Executive Committee and Office for Coordination of the fight against organized crime and other dangerous types of crimes on the territory of CIS.
The participants discussed some important issues, including cooperation in fighting crime and ensuring the public security and defined the agenda of the meeting, which is to take place in Baku next month.
