Role of Jewish community in Azerbaijan`s socio-political life mulled

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met a delegation of American Jewish Committee (AJC) led by executive director David Harris. The Minister noted that Azerbaijan was known in the world as a multi-cultural and tolerant country.

He emphasized the country`s active role in dialogue among civilizations. They discussed current state of relations between Azerbaijan and the U.S., development prospects of cooperation, as well as the role of the Jewish community in Azerbaijan`s socio-political life, and ongoing processes in the region.
