
Azerbaijan`s first deputy Prime-Minister Yagub Eyyubov met Montenegro`s Premier Igor Lukšic.
Eyyubov said Montenegrin Premier`s visit will give impetus to developing economic relations between the two countries. “Last year, commodity turnover between the two states constituted $ 4 mln dollars. Activity of intergovernmental economic commission is expected to start in near future,” said Eyyubov.
He hailed Azerbaijan`s share capital in tourism project of Montenegro. Eyyubov praised Montenegro`s vote in Azerbaijan`s election as non-permanent member to the UN Security Council. Azerbaijan always supports Montenegro in international arena, he said.
Lukšic underlined his country always maintains Azerbaijan in international arena. He said Montenegro-Azerbaijan Inter-parliamentary Friendship Group has been recently instituted.
He stressed necessity of conducting of the two countries` business forums. He noted elimination of double taxation between the two states and documents signed in customs system would play an important role in developing economic relations. The talks to launch the direct charter flight are also carrying out.
