State will finance political parties from next year

The amendments made to the law on “Political parties” on financing the political parties will be executed next year as no funds were considered in the budget for 2012, Head of the Azerbaijani Parliament’s Office Safa Mirzayev told journalists.

According to him, the delay of the law’s execution is related to this factor: “This issue will be taken into account during the consideration of the next year’s budget. I consider that the financing of political parties by the state will start from 2013”.
