Azerbaijani MP visits Bosnia and Herzegovina

Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva met Sarajevo mayor Alija Behmen in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Pashayeva stressed significance of relations between Azerbaijan-Bosnia and Herzegovina. She updated the mayor on Azerbaijan`s potential, achievements and development.

On Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Pashayeva said more than one million people became refugees and IDPs as a result of Armenian aggression. The mayor said there was a big potential to boost cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields even more. She noted a monument erected by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the victims of Srebrenica and Khojaly massacres is a symbol of friendship.

Pashayeva visited monument to the victims of Srebrenica and Khojaly massacres, Azerbaijan–Bosnia and Herzegovina Park of Friendship and Baku street in Sarajevo.

Behmen thanked Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev and head of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for reclamation works in Sarajevo.
