President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a Montenegrin delegation led by Prime Minister Igor Luksic.
The Head of State said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Montenegro had been rapidly developing in the last few years.
President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of a meeting and discussions on cooperation with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, who was in Azerbaijan to participate in the Crans Montana Forum.
The Azerbaijani leader expressed confidence PM Igor Luksic`s visit to the country would play important role in terms of expansion of bilateral relationship even more.
Igor Luksic recalled his meeting with President Ilham Aliyev in Chicago.
The Premier hailed the political relations between the two countries. The Montenegrin PM spoke of existing opportunities to develop the bilateral ties on the economic front.
*****President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Georgian Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili. The Head of State congratulated Mr. Merabishvili on his appointment as a new PM of Georgia and wished him successes.
President Ilham Aliyev said Mr. Merabishvili`s visit to Azerbaijan created good opportunities for discussing the issues of development of bilateral relations in all directions even more, in particular in the political and economic fields.
Vano Merabishvili expressed pleasure with his first visit to Azerbaijan as Prime Minister.
During the meeting, they discussed expansion of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia in various fields.
