Azerbaijani President receives credentials of incoming Indian ambassador - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today accepted credentials of newly appointed ambassador of India Vinod Kumar.

The Ambassador passed along a ceremonial guard of honor.

President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the ambassador.

The President noted high-level bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and India, expressing confidence the bilateral relations would develop successfully during Vinod Kumar`s diplomatic mission in the country.

The Head of State stressed the importance of reciprocal visits in terms of expanding the bilateral relationship.

The President said both countries were interested in developing the economic cooperation, underlining the existence of good opportunities for boosting cooperation in political, economic, tourism and cultural spheres.

Indian ambassador Vinod Kumar stressed the significance of the joint intergovernmental commission`s activity in terms of expanding the bilateral relationship. He said India is interesting in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan.
