NATO-Azerbaijan ties mulled

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met with NATO Secretary General`s Special Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai.

The sides discussed developing of the existing cooperation on Afghanistan between NATO and Azerbaijan, also exchanged views on ongoing developing processes in Afghanistan.

James Appathurai, in his turn, hailed Azerbaijan`s contribution to International Security Assistance Force, as well as its activity on peacekeeping operations and the country`s increasing image in international arena.
