'Turkey happy with Azerbaijan’s achievements'

Azerbaijani MP, member of the Azerbaijan-Turkey inter-parliamentary friendship group Ganira Pashayeva met with the labor and social protection minister of Turkey Faruk Chelik. The two take part at the United Nations Economic and Social Council’s (ECOSOC) meeting.

The Turkish Minister praised Azerbaijan’s membership at the UN Security Council, its presidency at the organization in May current year. Noting that Turkey is always happy with the accomplishments the fraternal Azerbaijan reached in the years of independence.

Ms Pashayeva said Azerbaijan is always beside Turkey, noting that Azerbaijan’s presidency at UN SC was in favor of fraternal Turkey, too. The sides also underlined that the fraternal countries have gained authority in the region.
