Columbia backs Azerbaijan`s stance on Karabakh conflict resolution

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov yesterday met a Columbian delegation led by chairperson of the Senate`s second constitutional committee Alexandra Moreno Piraquive.
Mammadyarov hailed the visit of the Columbian delegation.

The Minister stressed importance of expanding the legislative basis between the two countries.
He praised the position of the Parliament of Columbia on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Piraquive, in turn, noted that Columbia supported Azerbaijan`s stance on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

She underlined the significance of developing the bilateral relations, especially in the economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Piraquive expressed hope the visit would give a push to cooperation between Azerbaijan and Columbia.
