IRS-Heritage magazine publishes truth about Azerbaijan

03 July 2012 [13:27] - TODAY.AZ
The IRS-Heritage magazine has recently for the fist time published a protocol of the newly found Persian original of historical Turkmenchay Treaty (1828), translated into Russian, with expert review.

The new issue of magazine includes also an interesting article by PhD S. Garagunlu “The Turkmenchay Treaty: unknown pages” dealing with the historical injustice - division of Azerbaijani lands between the great powers and its final result – the division of a nation into two parts. The Treaty was signed as a result of the 2nd Russia-Iran war between Russia and Iran in Turkmenchay village on 10 February 1828.

Another article published in the magazine – “The Armenian “contribution” to development of the oil industry of Baku” (Farhad Jabbarov), exposes myths about participation of businessmen of the Armenian origin in development of this strategic industry.

The magazine presents interesting articles as “The Armenian factor in the history of Azerbaijani-North Caucasian relationship”, “Oglangala – the state capital of utis (Kuti)”, “The State Russian Drama Theater: Yesterday and Today”, “The Kengerlinsky Cavalry” and other materials about culture and art of Azerbaijan.

It is pertinent here to mention that now the IRS-Heritage is published also in German. Today, the IRS magazine is issued in 11 languages in Europe, Asia, Africa and America. Certainly, such expansion of readership will allow increasing efficiency of its mission – reports to the foreign reader of the realities about Azerbaijan.
