Azerbaijan`s diplomat meets Ex-president of Lithuania

Azerbaijan`s Ambassador Hasan Mammadzade has met with Former President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus. During the meeting, Hasan Mammadzade presented an invitation letter by Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev for Baku International Forum to be held on October, to the Former President.

Valdas Adamkus recalled the meetings held with President Ilham Aliyev and asked to deliver his greetings to the Head of the Azerbaijan State. The Former President of Lithuania also hailed Azerbaijan`s policy, its role on ensuring the regional security.

He also expressed satisfaction on the fact that the mission is skilfully being carried out by Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev. The sides exchanged views on current socio-political situation of Lithuania, as well as regional and world processes.

Valdas Adamkus presented his book “Last Cadence” to the Azerbaijan`s Ambassador, while Hasan Mammadzade also gave “Ilham: Portrait of a President” book to the Former President of Lithuania.
