. The UN General Assembly will consider the issue of admission of Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA) to this organization with an observer status in its 66th session in September, said TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov, APA reports.

Hasanov said that TurkPA member countries’ ambassadors to the UN were carrying out corresponding work on it and added that the gaining of observer status in the UN General Assembly will play an important role in the organization’s international activity.

Hasanov said that the agreement on cooperation will be signed between TurkPA and Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS) in the summit of the CCTS leaders in Bishkek.
