‘Appointment of the US ambassador to Baku necessary for dynamic development of Azerbaijan-US relations’

“It is necessary to appoint ambassador to our country for dynamic development of the Azerbaijan-US relations,” chief of the Political Analysis and Information Department of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Elnur Aslanov told journalists.

According to him, appointment of the US ambassador to Azerbaijan will create a basis for development of the Azerbaijan-US relations, increasing dynamic relations and entering relations into a new stage in spheres of policy and economy.

About the problem between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan on Kepez field in the Caspian Sea Aslanov said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued statement on it: “The position of the Foreign Ministry was clearly reflected in this statement. We must wait for the opposite side to show its position after this statement.”
