Moscow hosted “Russia and Azerbaijan – on way of revival" event

A scientific conference “Russia and Azerbaijan – on way of revival”, dedicated to the Day of Salvation of Azerbaijan and Day of Russia took place in the Moscow World Trade Center.

“The key goal of the conference organized by All-Russia Azerbaijani Congress (ARAC) is discussion by experts of two countries of various aspects of the Russia-Azerbaijan interaction at all levels and wide exchange of views”, opening the action, Mikayil Huseynov, secretary general of AAC, said. He noted that conference and discussions with participation of representatives of Russia and Azerbaijan will allow learning better the reality of both countries.

The ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu noted importance of the action held on the eve of the national holiday of Azerbaijan, connected with national history's turning point – returning of national leader Heydar Aliyev to power of the country. Briefing about the contemporary history, the Ambassador in detail told about impressive successes of Azerbaijan, among which is the election of Azerbaijan as the member of the UN Security Council, which testifies to the increased authority of Azerbaijan all over the world.

Concerning development of the Azerbaijani-Russian cooperation, Mr. Bulbuloglu noted strategic character and high level of interstate relations of two countries in all spheres of interaction.
The Russian experts have highly appreciated successes of Azerbaijan in years of independence, noting quick strengthening of its authority on international arena. It has especially been underlined that Azerbaijan at high level has held the Eurovision-20123 Song Contest.

Officials, public figures of two countries, representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora and youth took part in the conference.
