Azerbaijan, the Netherlands mull energy issues

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Wednesday met with the Netherlands’ Foreign Ministry special representative on Caspian region Rene van der Linden. The ambassador Rene van der Linden praised development of Azerbaijan, economic reforms in the country and economic and political relations with the Netherlands.

The ambassador also spoke about his meeting with the Head of Azerbaijani State Ilham Aliyev.
Rene van der Linden expressed pleasure with participation of his country at the 19th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference Incorporating Refining and Petrochemicals in Baku.

Elmar Mammadyarov, in turn, dwelled on bilateral political and economic ties as well as future projects between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands. The sides also discussed issues of energy and global security.
