Azerbaijan-Turkey talks focus on military cooperation

On Monday, Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev received
the Commander of the Turkish Gendarmerie Forces, General Bekir Kalyoncu, the ministry's press service told Trend.

The main topics of discussion were the mutual development of military cooperation and strengthening of ties in the military education.

Also during the meeting the sides exchanged views on the military situation in the region.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic attended the meeting.
