Iran’s Consulate General in Nakhchivan refuses reports on border closure

The border between Iran and the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic was not closed. The information disseminated in this regard is wrong, the Iranian Consulate General in Nakhchivan told Trend today.

"We have contacted the Julfa customs," the consulate general said. "There are no problems with crossing the border. Customs continues working as usual."

Today, several media have reported that Iran closed its border with the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
