Ali Hasanov : 'Azerbaijan ensured high level security at Eurovision 2012'

Azerbaijan ensured security at the Eurovision Song Contest at a high level. Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Social and Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov made this statement at the conference on the topic "Role of NGOs in civil society development", organized by the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan on Thursday.

"Azerbaijani government guaranteed security of all participants, who visited the country. All law enforcement agencies entered intensified scheduled. As a result, terror acts and attempts to violate the Eurovision Song Contest were prevented," Hasanov said.

Azerbaijan demonstrated the best example to host Eurovision Song Contest, he added.
