Azerbaijan recalls its ambassador to Tehran

Azerbaijan has recalled its ambassador to Iran for consultations. Ambassador Javanshir Akhundov has left for Baku on Wednesday, the embassy told Trend.

Earlier, Iran recalled its ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohammad Bagher Bahrami to Tehran for consultations.

At the same time, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev did not rule out the possibility that the ambassador arrives in Baku on personal business.
