Azerbaijani national flag flown over Connecticut State General Assembly – PHOTOS

The Azerbaijani national flag was flown along the U.S. flag over the Connecticut State Capitol - the headquarters of State General Assembly - in Hartford, CT, to honor of the 94th anniversary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) on May 28, the Azerbaijan-American Council reported. 

This is the first time Azerbaijani flag was flown over a state legislature or government in the United States, to honor Azerbaijani National Day. On a prior similar occasion, Azerbaijani flag was raised in the Chambers of California State Assembly in May 2008, to greet the visiting AAC community delegation.
