'A number of int'l organizations show biased position'

30 May 2012 [12:31] - TODAY.AZ
Many international organizations in their activities have always preferred the double standards, but we did not expect such an open demonstration of biased position, as now, Chairman of 'Azadlig' Public Association Tahmasib Novruzov told Trend on Tuesday.

He said this can be explained only by the envy of the development, progress in Azerbaijan.

"On the other hand, I believe the conditions for this are created by some political organizations operating in Azerbaijan and calling themselves human rights. It's natural that Amnesty International or any other organization in the reports on Azerbaijan does not take this information from the air, but gets it from somewhere and distributes a report based on this," Novruzov said.

He said it's not known who conveys this information to them.

"Unfortunately, these conditions are created by own 'wolves'. So I think that society should not only condemn those who spread these reports, but also those who in Azerbaijan act against Azerbaijan, against the state," he said.

He said that to sell the interests of Azerbaijan to foreign countries for the sake of personal interest means a betrayal of people and the state.
