Azerbaijan’s Republic Day celebrated in Bulgaria

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Bulgaria has arranged an official reception on the occasion of 28 May, Azerbaijan’s Republic day in “Sheraton” Hotel, Sofia.

The event was attended by representatives of Administration of the President of Bulgaria, Cabinet of Ministers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, People’s Assembly, Azerbaijan-Bulgaria inter-parliamentary friendship group, various political parties, well-known businessmen, leading mass media, local community, international organizations and diplomatic corps accredited in this country, students living and studying here, the members of the Bulgarian and Turkish communities and the heads of executive authorities and local governing bodies.

The event featured demonstration of the documentary films on Azerbaijan’s history, culture, economy, tourism as well as video about the “Eurovision-2012” song contest in Baku.
Different books, magazines, brochures in English and Bulgarian languages as well as national souvenirs have also been presented to the participants.

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Bulgaria has received numerous letters of congratulation from Public and Private Organizations on the occasion 28 May - Azerbaijan’s Republic day.
