Azerbaijan- Canada inter-parliamentary relations mulled

Azerbaijani MPs Asef Hajiyev and Mubariz Gurbanli, who are in Canada on official visit, have held a number of meetings in Ottawa, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Canada told Trend on Wednesday.

MPs have met with the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Deepak Obra, member of the Parliament of Canada John MacKay and MP Daryl Kremple.

Azerbaijani MPs also held a working lunch with chairman of Canada-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Barry Devolin and other members of the Friendship Group.

Azerbaijani-Canadian interparliamentary relations and prospects for their development were discussed during the meeting.
