Date of Azerbaijani Parliament’s next plenary session known

The next plenary session of the Azerbaijani Parliament will be held on May 22. Spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Parliament Akif Tavakkuloglu told APA that 14 issues were included in the sitting’s agenda. The law on “Ensuring the intellectual property rights and combating the piracy” will be discussed in the second reading, the draft law on “Ensuring the rights and freedoms of imprisoned persons” will be discussed in the third reading. Besides, the draft laws on “Prosecutor’s Office”, “Status of the municipalities”, “Exemplary statute of the municipalities” and etc. will be amended. Several intergovernmental agreements will be approved at the meeting.
