Azerbaijan`s President opens “Khazri” Leisure and Health Centre - UPDATE - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated “Khazri” Leisure and Health Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Zagulba settlement here. The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the center.

The Head of State was informed that the construction of the Centre started in May, 2010. The total area of the Centre is 13.5 hectares. It has seven-storey main building, check point, conference section, sport ground, boiler-house, pumping station, swimming pools, special beach area, two-storey cottages, restaurants, tea-house and other facilities.

The floor space of the main building is 35,000 sq.m. It has sleeping rooms and lounges, 200-seater restaurant and 400-seater conference hall. The center also houses a fitness.
President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the presidential suite of the Centre.

Then, Azerbaijan`s President toured the territory of the Centre. President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Centre`s staff.
