Russia to deliver 64 combat helicopters to Baku

Russia will finish the delivering of 64 combat helicopters to Baku within the agreements signed with Azerbaijan in 2010. APA reports quoting Russian press that two enterprises – “Kazan Helicopter Plant” and “Rosvertol” companies are engaged in implementation of the agreements.

Delivering of the helicopters started at the end of the last year.  40 Mi-17-V1 military transport helicopters and 24 Mi-35M combat helicopters will be delivered to Azerbaijan within the agreements. This is the largest deal between Azerbaijan and Russia on sales of military aviation.
