National leader Heydar Aliyev`s 89th anniversary marked in UAE

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in the United Arabic Emirates (UAE) has organized an event in Raffles hotel of Dubai to mark the 89th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was attended by UAE Azerbaijanis, representatives of the Azerbaijan International Bank and Azerbaijan Airlines` office in Dubai.

The Azerbaijani ambassador to the UAE Elkhan Gahramanov made a speech on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s life and activity and his irreplaceable merits to the country.

The ambassador updated the participants on Heydar Aliyev`s successful foreign policy towards settlement of Armenia–Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict and meetings held with presidents of the foreign countries. Other speakers stressed national leader Heydar Aliyev`s contribution to development of Azerbaijan and successful policy being carried out in Azerbaijan by President Ilham Aliyev.
